I am glad you are here right now to know what the Bible actually said concerning Teasing!
WHAT IS TEASING?
Teasing simply means joking with someone about what is NOT TRUE. This could lead to so many things, like ANGER, HATRED, DEATH, MALICE, DISHONESTY etc.
You can provoke a man by teasing him. In the real sense, some say they are only joking, but the little joke could damage a lot. When you joke with what is untrue, and later or immediately reveal the truth, the other person or people may never trust you again.
Some people will say they just like to pull people's legs. They derive joy by making people to believe what is not true as a joke.
Note:
Comedy is different from Teasing. Comedy simply means when you imagine something or form something to make people laugh. The people laughing are 100% aware it's nothing but a joke.
WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT TEASING
The Bible totally condemned Teasing/ Pulling one's Leg.
Proverbs 26:18-19 ESV
Like a madman who throws firebrands, arrows, and death is the man who deceives his neighbor and says, “I am only joking!”
The above scripture has said it all. If you are the type that still engage in going about teasing people and causing crisis, Repent today and do it nomore.
